The Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and the Department of Psychiatry of The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), are seeking to recruit one or more Ontario licensed physician with expertise in youth nicotine use, substance use disorders and or problem gambling/technology overuse. This position is for a one year contract, with potential for renewal upon review and availability of funds. The successful candidate will work within the Addictions Program at CAMH. The successful candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher and must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. Education |
The successful applicant must hold an MD degree, must be Board certified or Board Eligible in Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Specialty (a fellowship or enhanced skills year in a relevant field will also be considered), and must be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The successful candidate with Addiction Medicine training is preferred but not necessary as well as a record of excellence in scholarship. The successful candidate will have a scholarly interest in collaborative and integrated care delivery, measurement based care and the use of digital technology in facilitating healthcare access and experience working collaboratively with clinicians on program design, research projects and research implementation.
