The Moncton Hospital, a facility within Horizon Health Network, is recruiting an obstetrics and gynecology physician. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at present consists of six obstetricians/gynecologists and one maternal fetal medicine specialist. On-call coverage is done in coordination with other members of the division. FACILITY: The Moncton Hospital is a 386-bed, tertiary and critical care facility within Horizon Health Network. It is a major referral hospital serving communities across New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and northern Nova Scotia. It is a level III Trauma Centre which offers tertiary services in neurosurgery, oncology and neonatal care and includes all other major services and subspecialties. The Moncton Hospital offers excellent opportunities for teaching and clinical research and has academic affiliation with Dalhousie University. Standard remuneration is Fee-for-Service which is a direct compensation between the physician and Medicare of New Brunswick. On call remuneration is provided. No source deductions can be provided.

Education |
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology requires that their members have passed the examination of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in their specialty in order to be eligible for active membership. Candidates with Royal College eligibility may be considered. Applicants must also qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.
