The Department of Emergency Medicine at Erie Shores HealthCare is inviting applications for a Full-time Emergency Room Physician to join our team. The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day and receives over 30,000 annual visits including a variety of pathology. The ED is supported with onsite specialist coverage by Internal Medicine, General Surgery, OB-GYN, Psychiatry and Anesthesia, and established links to subspecialty coverage within the Windsor Regional Hospital system. • Full time (12 - 14 shifts per month) - $125,000 signing bonus for 5 years return of service.
• A 3 year interest free loan of $100,000 for relocation costs with $15,000 forgiven at end of term. • Emergency Medicine AFA Hourly rates range from $160 per hour to $224 per hour. Hourly rates are topped up with 37% of shadow billings. On select shifts there is currently an extra $21/hour being provided to support Critical Care Outreach Team. • $1,000 CME incentive per year that can be banked up to $3,000. |

Qualification Requirements
|

| Education |
Successful candidates will be CCFP-EM, or ABEM, or FRCPC certified, or CCFP certified with Emergency Medicine experience, and must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. CPSO pathway licensure is easily available for US Board Certified Physicians with new regulations implemented in 2023 that have created a straightforward licensure process without the requirement for supervision.

Our catchment area of 110,000 includes Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, Amherstburg, Belle River, and Wheatley. With a four-bed level II Intensive Care Unit and a three-room Operating Suite, we provide essential services to our community. ESHC also has an affiliation with the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and candidates have an opportunity to participate in education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
