Shared Health is seeking applications for the position of Site Medical Lead – Internal Medicine at the Health Sciences Centre. The Primary role of the Site Medical Lead is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of quality care.

This position has a dual reporting relationship:

1. The incumbent will report to the Shared Health Provincial Specialty Lead – Internal Medicine for the overall planning and coordination of service delivery within the Province;

2. For day-to-day activities, the incumbent will report to the Chief Medical Officer – HSC

The Site Medical Lead also liaises with the University’s academic program head for enhancing the teaching and research activities, where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A current certificate of practice to practice medicine in the Province of Manitoba
• FRCP in General Internal Medicine and/or one of the Medicine Subspecialties or equivalent
