Job Posting
locum Physician - Emergency Medicine at Prince Edward Island
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
Job ID: 8718

The Prince County Hospital Emergency Department (ED) is looking for longer term (1-6 month) locums physicians, with the possibility of a permanent position in our current group which consists of eight full-time and three part-time physicians.
Do you want to work in a province where your voice matters in provincial decisions? Where the provincial government enjoys a respectful and productive relationship with its physicians?

Have you ever wanted to work in a warm and welcoming place where people are friendly, helpful and cheerful? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Prince Edward Island (PEI) may be the place for you!

Our 20-bed shop has most of the accoutrements of a modern ED and offers a broad scope of practice. Here, you’ll take the lead in the management of trauma, STEMI, stroke, and code blue patients in a well-organized and collegial environment. Our team has dedicated resources ready to safely manage and support our provincial Covid-19 response if and when it may be required.
