Full-time hours and General Internal Medicine call as required.
Physicians have the option of choosing a salary, contract for service or fee-for-service payment modality. Information related to payment modalities including blended payment (shadow billings) for the salary and contract for service payment models; benefits of the salary model including paid vacation entitlements, CME funding, RRSP program and more; on-call payments; and the Tariff of Fees for fee-for-service; can be found in the Master Agreement. Qualification Requirements

| Education |
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada eligibility or certification; or
CCFP- FPA Certification; Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island Appointment to the Health PEI Medical Staff and appropriate privileging; US Boards are acceptable; Atlantic Registry Starting May 1, 2023, physicians whose primary practice is in Atlantic Canada (and hold a general registration in either PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador) may be eligible to obtain registration to practice in all four Atlantic Canadian provinces via the Atlantic Registry. For more information or to opt-in to the Atlantic Registry, contact the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island today! Health Care Workers are required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per Health PEI’s Covid-19 Immunization and Management Policy. If a new hire is unable to be vaccinated as a result of a medical exemption, they will be required to submit supporting documentation to Employee Health / Wellness and Safety. |
