Shared Health (1502-155 Carlton Street, Winnipeg MB, R3C 5R9), Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and The University of Manitoba, Department of Internal Medicine (business addresses noted below), are inviting applications for a physician to fill our labour shortage in Manitoba. Main job duties include diagnose and treatment of diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, ordering lab tests and x-rays and other diagnostic procedures, consulting with other physicians as required.

This position includes an academic appointment within the Section of Endocrinology.
Section members provide direct patient care via the Ambulatory Care clinics and through its’ consultative services at two tertiary care teaching hospitals. The 18 faculty members provide specialized in-patient and out-patient ambulatory care to a wide variety of patients with hormonal and metabolic disorders. The Section has a strong commitment to the provision of clinical services, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and basic and clinical research.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in endocrinology. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Compensation:
Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income.
