Physician specializing in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine, along with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sinai Health Systems and Women’s College Hospital, are seeking a full-time physician qualified academic core Obstetrician and Gynaecologist as a clinician teacher. The position represents an opportunity for establish a busy clinical practice with dedicated health care professionals.

The successful candidate will practice both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Clinical responsibilities will include Obstetrics and Gynaecology outpatient clinics, surgical gynaecology, and in-house obstetrical call. Candidates with an interest or expertise in any of early pregnancy management, family planning, vulvar care or advanced surgical obstetrics will be preferred.

The successful candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher and must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the minimum rank of assistant professor or higher.

The successful candidate must hold and MD degree, must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The successful candidate will promote and demonstrate excellence in professional practice and conduct.
