The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group (ROHCG), a fully affiliated teaching site for the University of Ottawa, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for the OSI Clinic in Kingston, ON. The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Center is seeking to recruit a psychiatrist with exemplary credentials, and a demonstrated proficiency in working collegially and respectfully within medical and multidisciplinary teams. There is opportunity for active teaching and research, and the anticipation of participation in the administrative functioning of the hospital, either through committee work or leadership opportunities. Education |
• Current CPSO licensure and CMPA
|
Experience |
• Experience with the care and treatment of those with operational stress injuries.
• Experience in the mental healthcare of military, veteran, and/or law enforcement personnel • Demonstrated medical/clinical leadership skills, a completed working knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience in mental health service delivery to a broad-based individual and multi-cultural patient population. |
