The Department of Internal Medicine, Hospital Based Internist service at the Brant Community
Healthcare System is currently recruiting internists to join the expanding department. This
opportunity includes work in our newly created Internal Medicine Rapid Access Clinic (IMRAC)
with no on-call requirement.

The ideal candidate will have an independent practice license from the College of Physicians
and Surgeons of Ontario and Internal Medicine certification with the Royal College of Physicians
and Surgeons. We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative
skills, and a dedication to service excellence. They should also be a strong team player to work
effectively with physicians, nursing, staff, patients, managers and the community with a
commitment to medical education.

BCHS serves a high population of indigenous persons in the region therefore culturally
appropriate care for indigenous patients is a priority to the organization. Physicians with
experience and an interest in caring for indigenous persons are encouraged to apply.
