Fort St. John Hospital is a new state-of-the-art 55 bed hospital serving a population of approximately 23,000, and is one of two hospitals serving a catchment area of approximately 70,000. The facility offers services including diagnostics, surgery, acute care, ICU, maternity, a community cancer centre, community hemodialysis, visiting specialists clinic, and a prenatal clinic. Local specialists include General Surgery, General Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology and Pathology.

Fort St. John is known as “The Energetic City” and is located at Mile 47 of the world famous Alaska Highway in Northeastern BC! The city has numerous restaurants, cafés, and a health food store.
