Family physician required to share a practice with experienced rural physicians.

The 25 bed Hospital serves approximately 8,000 to 10,000 people in the East Parkland area with approximately one half being First Nations people. Services are provided under contract with the Parkland Regional Health Authority. The Dr. Gendreau Personal Care home has 65 beds and one bed for respite clients.
Ste. Rose General Hospital provides inpatient care in General Medicine, Detox and Palliative Care. Onsite diagnostics provides lab and xray and EKG. The facility Emergency Department provides half time services from 0800-2000 7 days a week. The site is designated as a provincial site for health care education to a number of programs such as Parkland Family Practice Residency Program through the University of Manitoba, the Physician’s Assistant Program through the Canadian Armed Forces, Provincial Licensed Practical Nursing Program, a practicum site for Nurse’s Aides, Bachelor of Nursing, Pharmacy Technologists, Social Work Programs and HRT Programs. SRGH has a very active Spiritual Care Department. In addition, this program provides Aboriginal services, social work and Mission development. The East Parkland Medical Clinic offers experienced clinic staff and Accuro EMR.

Qualifications:

Must be eligible for licensure with the College of physicians and surgeons of Manitoba Must be a member in good standings with the Canadian Medical Protective Association CCFP preferred ACLS PALS
Compensation: Compensation is derived from Fee-For-Service income as well as on call stipends.
