Details:

Shared Health Manitoba (1502-155 Carlton Street, Winnipeg MB R3C 5R9) and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for a permanent full-time Anatomical Pathologist position to fill our labour shortage in Brandon, Manitoba. Duties of the position include interpretation and diagnosis of disease processes in specimens and biopsies. Job duties are required in English.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of surgical pathologists. Participation in quality assurance activities is an expectation, as well as working in collaboration with other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
Shared Health is the not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba’s public laboratory services and for rural diagnostic imaging services. Shared Health is an independent, but publically funded organization and is affiliated with the University of Manitoba. The successful candidate may be eligible to apply for an appointment with the Department of Pathology at University of Manitoba.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Pathology. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Experience is an asset.

Compensation:

Shared Health provides a competitive compensation package (salary scale starts at $412,819.68/annum), a benefits plan that includes health & dental and annual vacation of 27 days.
