ROLE AND FACILITY INFORMATION
Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician with full-scope skills/experience to join a well-established Family Medicine/walk-in clinic and also provide Emergency Room coverage in Dawson Creek. Option to take over an established turn-key practice with fully equipped offices. The community has several clinics that work cooperatively.

This practice opportunity could also include:

• Maternity

• Primary OB

• Advanced OB with C-section (if qualified)

• Surgical assists

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Services include:

• 24/7 emergency

ICU

• Medical and surgical in-patient care

• Day surgery

• Respiratory therapy

• Diabetic education

• Primary care

• General surgery

• Lab

• Medical imaging with CT

• Cancer care

• Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical Centre for the Northeast region of British Columbia
