Northern Health is seeking two experienced Family Practice-Anesthetists to provide full-scope Family Medicine and advanced skills GP-Anaesthesia in Dawson Creek. The community has several Family Medicine clinics, all working cooperatively and providing a full spectrum of patient services.

Emergency Room shifts also available if qualified.

Core specialties available: Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopaedics, Surgery, and Psychiatry. Other opportunities for advanced skills in addition to GPA include Oncology, Maternity and Emergency.

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. The Emergency Room sees 22,000+ visits per year. Hospital services include:

• 24/7 Emergency

ICU

• Medical and Surgical Inpatient care

• Day Surgery

• General Surgery

• Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical Centre for the North East region of British Columbia

• Diagnostics and Medical Imaging with CT
