Remuneration is based on an average sessional rate of $200/hour. Full time physicians who take 6 weeks vacation typically gross $300,000 per year.

The Miramichi Regional Hospital has a comprehensive medical staff with specialist services in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Ob/Gyn, Anaesthesia, Orthopedics, ENT (Otolaryngology), Ophthalmology, Urology, Diagnostic Radiology, Pathology and Pediatrics; visiting consultants in other medical & surgical disciplines and a dynamic Family Practice group. We are located 90 mins from a Level II Trauma center (Moncton City Hospital).
