Details:

Shared Health and the Department of Internal Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, and Shared Health Manitoba invite applications for a full-time physician in the Section of Endocrinology. The section is one of 17 in the Department of Internal Medicine, providing patient care, undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education, and research.

This position includes an academic appointment within the Section of Endocrinology.
Section members provide direct patient care via the Ambulatory Care clinics and through its’ consultative services at two tertiary care teaching hospitals. The 15 faculty members provide specialized in-patient and out-patient ambulatory care to a wide variety of patients with hormonal and metabolic disorders. The Section has a strong commitment to the provision of clinical services, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and basic and clinical research.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have senior specialty qualifications in Endocrinology in the country of current practice and must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Certification in Endocrinology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred.

Compensation:

Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income.
