Shared Health Manitoba (1502-155 Carlton Street, Winnipeg MB R3C 5R9) and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (locations noted below) invite applications for permanent, full-time (1.0 EFT) House Medical Officer (HMO) positions in Neonatal Medicine at two tertiary neonatal units located in Winnipeg Manitoba; the Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface General Hospital.

Duties include the ongoing care for patients in the neonatal units, including resuscitation and stabilization of neonates. At Health Sciences Centre, there are 3 Neonatal Intensive Care services with a total of 60 beds; at St. Boniface General Hospital there is a combined Intensive and Intermediate Care Unit with 30 beds. Each hospital has over 5,000 deliveries per year. Job duties are in English.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have 3-6 months experience in neonatal intensive care and must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Compensation:

Remuneration will be in accordance with experience and responsibilities, consistent with the collective agreement. Benefits include pension, dental, prescription drugs, extended health coverage and a healthcare spending account.
