PEDIATRIC NEURORADIOLOGIST

The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto invites applications from interested and qualified Neuroradiologists for a full-time permanent faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto, is a world-renowned leader in health care, research, and teaching. The Hospital has approximately 340 beds and performs approximately 130,000 imaging studies per year.

The ideal candidate must have M.D. or equivalent, be board-certified in radiology and have fellowship and clinical experience in pediatric neuroradiology. Leadership skills will be an asset. The successful candidate should have a good academic track record and qualify for an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or above at the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and should be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Proficiency in English is required.

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated both scholarly and clinical achievement in the subspecialty of pediatric neuroradiology. The successful applicant will be part of the Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology at SickKids. Responsibilities will include performing and interpreting diagnostic neuroradiologic studies, including advanced imaging, providing call coverage in evening and overnight hours in rotation with other pediatric neuroradiologists and providing consultations. The Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology currently consists of 7 staff neuro-radiologists. The Division has a large, international fellowship program in Pediatric Neuroradiology and is also involved in the residency program of the Department of Medical Imaging of the University of Toronto. The Division works collaboratively with Neurology, Neurosurgery, and other related disciplines in SickKids.
Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto and salary will be made commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The candidate should be eligible for an academic position at the University of Toronto preferably at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.
