Details: The Department of Internal Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, and Shared Health Manitoba invite applications for a Locum physician in the Section of Rheumatology. This is a Locum position commencing May 1, 2023 or as soon thereafter as possible. This is an appointment within the Section of Rheumatology. The Section has access to substantial resources within the health system, primarily at two academic health centres and one community-based hospital. There are presently 7 full-time academic Rheumatology physicians within the Section with major clinical and investigative responsibilities in Rheumatology, and additional part time members. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have specialty qualifications in Rheumatology and a proven track record in the care of complex rheumatology patients including systemic autoimmune disease, vasculitis, and inflammatory arthritis. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred.
