A new hospital will be built to replace Mills Memorial Hospital and is estimated to open in 2022. Community Description |
The economic activity in Terrace is focused on serving the mining, logging and natural gas industries. Terrace is also a regional convention center because of its location and excellent services. The population is approximately 19,000, with a catchment area of 31,000. There are four secondary schools, nine elementary schools, Northwest Community College campus and a UNBC campus. Terrace has a busy airport, with seven out-bound flights per day.
