C-health is an innovative, patient-centered group practice, specializing in cardiovascular risk stratification and management, with a strong focus on patient education and outpatient diagnostics. Founded in 1999 as a single entity, C-health has evolved into a multidisciplinary practice with operations in Calgary, Edmonton, Airdrie, and Sherwood Park. Our divisions include C-era (cardiovascular), C-endo (endocrinology and diabetes), C-diagnostics (cardiometabolic and cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and services), C-impact (Internal Medicine), and C-health Research. We are a collaborative team of medical specialists who are not just focused on delivering care today; we are envisioning and creating the healthcare of tomorrow.

C-health requires a full time Internal Medicine Specialist to join our Calgary and Edmonton teams working within the C-era (cardiovascular) and/or C-endo (endocrinology) specialist clinics. Across the Province we see approximately 1200 new cardiovascular patients and 1000 new endocrinology patients each month.

We house multiple specialized patient support programs, such as our Diabetes Education and Insulin Pump Therapy Program and our FOCUS Program supporting patients with obesity/overweight. Program are led by our team of highly skilled CDEs and CBEs, and available to all patients.

Shift:
Monday to Friday. No on-call required.

Responsibilities:
As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you can expect to perform clinical assessments, provide health education/counselling and comprehensive treatments. You will work with other Internists/Endocrinologist and a broad multi-disciplinary team, including pharmacists, dietitians, and research coordinators.

Qualifications: 1. An FRCPC in Internal Medicine and must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta 2. Fellow, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada 3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a motivated team of physicians, nursing, staff, patients, directors, managers, and the community
