Our divisions include C-era (cardiovascular), C-endo (endocrinology and diabetes), C-diagnostics (cardiometabolic and cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and services), C-impact (Internal Medicine), and C-health Research. C-health requires an experienced Endocrinologist to join our team in our Edmonton clinic. Across the province we see greater than 1000 new endocrinology patients each month.

We house multiple specialized patient support programs such as our Diabetes Education with Insulin Pump Therapy Program and our FOCUS Program where we support patients with obesity/overweight. Program are led by our team of highly skilled CDEs and CBEs, and available to all patients.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
As an Endocrinologist, you can expect to perform clinical assessments, provide health education/counselling and comprehensive treatments. You will work with other Internists/Endocrinologist and a broad multi-disciplinary team, including pharmacists, dietitians and research coordinators. Highly integrated with the University of Alberta as a mandatory teaching facility.

Qualifications:
1. Registered (or eligible for registry) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
2. Fellow, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a motivated team.
4. A demonstrated commitment to continued medical education, innovation, patient-centered care, continuous quality improvement, and operational efficiency
5. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively within a diverse clinical team
