An exciting opportunity to be a member of a team of health professionals administering a modern, comprehensive, and culturally sensitive assessment process.

The Mercury Disability Board is contracting qualified medical professionals in the following fields to conduct medical assessments to determine eligibility of community members from two First Nation communities in Northwestern Ontario for mercury disability benefits:
NURSE PRACTITIONERS (adult & pediatric)
NEUROLOGISTS (adult)
PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGISTS / PEDIATRICIANS
NEUROPSYCHOLOGISTS / PSYCHOLOGISTS (adult & pediatric)

The current assessment process is being modernized and made more accessible to community members. These assessments are a key component to securing compensation for the harms experienced by Grassy Narrows First Nation and Wabaseemoong Independent Nations as a result of mercury exposure.
