Family physician required to share a practice with experienced rural physicians. This is a Fee for Service practice with physicians sharing equally in the ER/Acute care/LTC call schedule with the other physicians.

Neepawa Health Centre is a 38 bed acute care facility with Surgical Services (including laparoscopic), Diagnostic Services (including ultrasound), Public Health Services, Mental Health Services, Home Care Services, Chemotherapy Services and Emergency Medical Services. Neepawa Long Term Care facility known as Country Meadows Care Home is a full service nursing home with a capacity of 100 beds as well as a respite program, community bath program and adult day program.

The town of Neepawa is location at the intersection of the number 16 and number 5 highways, which makes Neepawa a very important transportation hub. Neepawa is also famous for their Lily Festival and is known as the “World Lily Capital” and as former home and burial place of famous author Margaret Laurence, Neepawa enjoys visits from thousands of worldly travelers ever year. Neepawa has also won the prestigious title of “Manitoba’s Most Beautiful Town” more than any other, and prides itself on cleanliness, low crime rate, beautiful flora, majestic Elm tree population, and historic architecture.

Qualifications:

Must be eligible for licensure with the College of physicians and surgeons of Manitoba Must be a member in good standings with the Canadian Medical Protective Association CCFP preferred ACLS PALS
Compensation: Compensation is derived from Fee-For-Service income as well as on call stipends.
