Details: Shared Health Diagnostic Services and the Section of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Radiology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for Nuclear Medicine physicians with special interest/expertise in clinical research related to nuclear medicine to fill our labour shortage in Manitoba. Main job duties include diagnose and treatment of diseases, supervision and interpretation of examinations, commitment to high quality patient care, teaching (undergraduate and post graduate) consulting with other physicians as required, and medical research. Job duties are required in English. The University of Manitoba is a major research university located in the city of Winnipeg. The city has a rich cultural environment with symphony, opera, dance, theatre and ethnic festivals. The region also provides ample opportunities for outdoor recreation in all seasons. Qualifications: The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Nuclear Medicine. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Dual-certification in Radiology, hybrid imaging experience, post-residency fellowship training and/or research experience would be an asset. Compensation: Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income. Specialty Physicians may be eligible for a recruitment incentive.
