Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Are you a Sonographer who likes new challenges, loves the outdoors and values work life balance? If so, the South Okanagan is the place for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within our team.

This opportunity is a relief full time position until the return of the incumbent. Shifts are 4 days per week (rotating) with extended hours (9.385 hrs/day).

This facility is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. We have a very diverse, busy atmosphere where technologists are constantly on the move, working in the OR, on the wards (i.e. Acute Care, ICU, ER), and in the DI Department. We are seeking a Sonographer who is able to adapt to whichever situation presents itself… from finding out about the injuries from an accident, to helping provide imagery in the OR, followed up by post-operative films in the department. Every patient is an individual with ever changing needs which provides many challenges to the technologist.

PRH’s DI Department consists of four Ultrasound Rooms with new machines. Services offered include: Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Radiography, Bone Densitometry, and Fluoroscopy. If you value working with a seasoned and supportive team and are a great team player yourself, then we would love to hear from you! Apply Today!
