Psychiatrist

Providing service to adults who have a diagnosis of major mental illness and experience significant problems that interfere with their functioning in community, the West End Mental Health Team is serving the area north of False Creek and West of Cambie and Richards streets.

Characteristics of the target population include a history of multiple psychiatric hospitalizations; unstable housing and/or relationships; Difficulties with activities of daily living; high risk for co-occurring medical conditions; refractory treatment history; and high risk of causing harm to self or others.
