Located in one of BC’s most picturesque communities, this facility is an active rural hospital serving the community of Salmon Arm. A temporary opportunity is available for a Physiotherapist who is seeking employment in a community setting.

This position works in a Home and Community Care capacity and is based out of the Shuswap Home Health Office. The duration of this position is approximately one year (until January 2019). Although the base FTE is 0.60, there is opportunity to work up to a 0.80 until March of 2018 after which there will be casual shifts available in our acute and residential sites to supplement the 0.60 position.

As the sole Physiotherapist you will join the Home and Community Care Rehab Team. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or caregiver to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
